For professionals.
Many ready-made green container wall systems are now available on the market. These are whole pallets/systems of integrated containers in which individual plants or individual pots can be placed. This type of green walls can be also built with different types of gutter or trough.
The systems are integrated with automatic irrigation systems.

An example from Paris.
Examples from Paris show how easy it is to create a green wall using only potted plants.
Buenos Aires
An interesting solution is the idea taken from Buenos Aires, where long PVC pipes were used to construct a green wall; 1/3 of the pipe was cut off to form a trough in which the soil substrate was placed and then the vegetation was planted.
Annual plants, which tend to fall in a cascade, work best in this system.. You can water them yourself with a garden hose, or use a simple irrigation system. You can also use these structures for planting vegetables.
An example of a simple green wall made from recycled materials.
It can normally be constructed using pots to which we attach handles, which can then be suspended on a specially prepared structure. It can be free-standing or attached to a wall that is previously protected from moisture.
